Vanishing Crew

A screen capture from a DVD shows two crew members standing in a corridor. They just weren't wanted or needed in the final image....

...so we made them vanish! The process takes a bit longer than a magic act, unfortunately. Corel PhotoPaint's cloning tool was used to recreate the color, shading and shadow effects in some areas. Masking and copying of sections similar to those hidden by the actors were used to recreate some of the missing pieces. Finally, blending, shading, blurring and sharpening was done to help everything fit together smoothly and seamlessly. And presto — the actors vanish!
